Meanwhile, over in Germany, the one-of-a-kind Californian jazz fusion band Yellowjackets proves it's still got it after over a decade with this exhilarating concert at the Ohne Filter studios in Baden-Baden.
This fantastic performance was filmed and recorded in July of 94 at the Ohne Filter studios in Baden-Baden, Germany. Here the Yellowjackets expertly present their unique take on fusion. Music has preserved their vitality and charm and to their credit, this band from California, who captured the music scene at the beginning of the eighties, has produced one hit after another ever since. When keyboard maestro Russell Ferrante, ace bass player Jimmy Haslip, saxophonist star Bob Mintzer and drum dervish Will Kennedy get together live, then pop fans are just as impressed as jazz lovers.
