As a goodbye to her tenure as General Director of the San Francisco Opera, Lofti Mansori staged Franz Lehar's THE MERRY WIDOW, casting Yvonne Kenny in the title role. This production featured an original ballet for the "Chez Maxime" scene and specially commissioned dialogue from Pulitzer Prize winner Wendy Wasserstein.
